To look up your past permits thru the CDA City Building Department website = click the  link above here takes you to CDA permit search – then click the underlined “search by address” in the left hand box that says searching permits  – then enter your address # (exp. – 1200) then pick the street in the drop down (exp. – 8th street). It will  bring up all the building department permits that the city has data based for your house. Since houses change hands you might not know what contractor did the work. This is a good way to find out what contractor did the work &/or messed your house up so you don’t hire them again!
